Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about NDIS reimbursement, hardware durability, VoiceOver accessibility, and delivery.

NDIS & Purchasing

Can I claim EveryTags through my NDIS funding?

EveryTags are low-cost assistive technology items (under $1,500) and may be claimable under your Core – Consumables or Assistive Technology budget if they relate directly to your disability goals. Self-managed participants can purchase directly and submit the paid tax invoice to the myplace portal for reimbursement. Plan-managed participants can forward our tax invoice to their plan manager for payment.

Do I receive a formal Tax Invoice with an ABN?

Yes. As soon as your order is completed, Stripe automatically generates a formal, numbered Tax Invoice PDF containing our Australian Business Number (ABN), your itemised product breakdown, and proof of payment ready for claim processing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major Australian debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, eftpos), as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay via secure Stripe checkout.

App & Accessibility

Are photos required to use the app?

No, photos are completely optional. You can use Tag Everything entirely by typing text or using standard iOS voice dictation. Taking a photo is simply a convenience feature to help auto-fill descriptions and speed up data entry when first programming a tag.

Is the Tag Everything app fully compatible with Apple VoiceOver?

Yes. Tag Everything is designed from the ground up for blind and low vision users, with complete screen reader optimisation, distinct haptic and audio cues, high-contrast layouts, and streamlined NFC scanning flows.

Can other people read what is on my tags?

No. Your custom text labels, notes, and item descriptions are stored securely on your device and in your private iCloud. If someone else scans your physical tag with their phone, they cannot view your private information.

Is Tag Everything available on Android?

Currently, Tag Everything is exclusive to iOS. We are exploring an Android release in the future, which will depend on community demand and user feedback.

Hardware & Durability

Can EveryTag sew-on buttons go through the washing machine and dryer?

Yes. Our sew-on buttons are engineered with waterproof, heat-resistant resin enclosures designed to withstand standard household washing machines, spin cycles, and tumble dryers without damaging the internal NFC chip.

What is the difference between standard and on-metal stickers?

Standard NFC stickers short out when placed directly on conductive metal surfaces like tinned food cans, spice jars, or metallic appliances. Our on-metal tags include a specialised ferrite shielding layer so they scan reliably on metal surfaces.

Do EveryTags require batteries or charging?

No. EveryTags are completely passive NFC chips. They draw momentary power directly from your iPhone or iPad’s magnetic field when tapped, meaning they never require batteries or charging.

What versions of iPhone or iPad will Tag Everything work on?

Tag Everything is compatible with any iPhone or iPad that supports NFC scanning and runs a modern iOS version. Supported devices include: iPhone 16 lineup (16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max), iPhone 15 lineup (15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max), iPhone 14 lineup (14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max), iPhone 13 lineup (13, 13 mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max), iPhone 12 lineup (12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max), iPhone 11 lineup (11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max), iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and iPhone SE (2nd generation or later).
